Marine Interior Systems has experience providing and installing quality interiors on fishing vessels. Our resume includes the FV Bering Defender, an AFA Catcher vessel which underwent an extensive refurbishment at Patti Marine in 2006.
In 2017, the Skipsteknisk designed 194’ Araho, the first US flagged freezer processor built in the United States in almost 30 years was delivered to the O’Hara Corporation from Eastern Shipbuilding Group. Marine Interior Systems provided and installed interior accommodations for 52 crew and lined the processing and cargo hold areas.
In 2018, the Skipsteknisk designed 261’ North Star, a factory trawler was almost completed when it was hit by Hurricane Michael. Marine Interior Systems provided and installed interior accommodations for 60 crew and lined the processing and cargo hold areas. The vessel was stripped and is being reoutfitted for delivery in the middle of 2020.
In 2018, the Rolls Royce designed 328’ pelagic trawler, the largest fishing vessel to ever be built in the US was awarded to Thoma-Sea Marine Constructors by Arctic Storm. Marine Interior Systems is providing and installing interior accommodations for 150 crew and lining the processing and cargo hold areas.
